The gardens in our centre have are here for everyone to learn and share in the growth of seasonal produce. The gardens are inspired by GPT's partnership with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.
We encourage you to harvest the herbs to use in your next dish. Enjoy, respect and care for our plants as you would your own.
THE STEPHANIE ALEXANDER KITCHEN GARDEN FOUNDATION
The Foundation’s Kitchen Garden Program is growing a food revolution and is changing the way primary school children approach and think about food. This dynamic and innovative program see kitchen and garden classes fun weekly, enabling skills-based learning that extends across the entire school curriculum.
The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden National Program is funded by the Australian Government. Parents and members of the school community are encouraged to register interest on behalf of their school.
